ABOUT US :

Komorebi was founded in 2017 by our able co-chair founder Miss Iysatta Manneh alongside Omaru Manneh. The motive for our Foundation came about when we first saw the need to support children, especially orphans, who were affected by the devastating mudslide and help these children realise their potential through sports and educational benefits.

Iysatta Manneh was Born in Sierra Leone and then moved to Japan in 2015 to commence high school at UWC ISAK Japan after attaining the best result at the country's Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). After completing high school, she pursued a civil and environmental engineering degree at Waseda University. Iysatta has since moved back to Sierra Leone, hoping to put all she has studied into practice and help make a change where needed.

Omaru Manneh was born and raised in Sierra Leone, moved to Germany in 2018 to further his studies, and now lives in Liechtenstein.
