ABOUT US
Komorebi was founded in 2017 by our able Chair founder Miss Iysatta Manneh alongside Omaru Manneh. The motive for our foundation came about when we first saw the need to support children, especially orphans, who were affected by the devastating mudslide and help these children realise their potential through sports and educational benefits.
Our foundation gives less privileged children a meaningful place in society regardless of their ethnicity, gender, religion or cultural background to enhance themselves as athletes or scholars and, in the fullness of time, help raise the standards of their community and beyond

Our Journey
We started with five boys in November 2017. Unfortunately, only two of those five boys attended school, and now we have 36 children that our foundation support, we got the rest of the boys back to school in just under a month.

In the recent Basic Educational Certificate Examination (BECE), three of our pupils partake in it and got great results leading to support from a neutral body which will assist them in their senior secondary school level.

Komorebi Foundation has also had the opportunity to participate in several tournaments, with a recent triumph at the Armani Trophy. The youth team won the championship scoring 12 goals and conceding zero.
